Im bummed, since I like to read everyones stuff, but Kevin keeps putting up NWS pics w/out being behind a cut  and I dont want to get in trouble for looking at naked ladies... 

Hey Kevin:would ya possibly mind putting the NWS stuff under cuts? it would be so appreciated , just so's I can keep getting a pay check n stuff.

I think this will be a great and fun party and we can wear the stuff we bought from the vendors at the vampire ball to this event! yay!

 So We had to take Phat Mike to the emergency vet last night.  He has PICA (is what the vet tech thinks) which is a disorder where people or animals have a compulsion to eat non edible or inappropriate things.   I tend to agree with her.  This kind of crap has been going on for 8 years. 

dekenangel was cutting fabric for an outfit and doing some patterning.  There was a strip of pvc scrap about 16" long and .5" wide.  he was concentrating on what he was doing and Mike was just sitting by him watching.  He turned around and half of that fabric strip was gone and the other half was soggy and chewed.  We looked everywhere for it, nowhere to be found.   

I called the vet and described the situation, they told me to come in right then.  We left immediately and ended up at the wrong emergency vet.  (there are 3 24/hr emergency vets in Burien) .  We called them again and found the right one.   about 40 min has past at this point.  

We get there, the vet says that Mike has to stay overnight and that he will try to induce vomiting.  If he doesnt throw up, he'll need surgery. :( 

151 dollars later we call around 1130pm and the vet tells us that Mike just threw up and the fabric came out.  Its still the same price if we get him then or today some time.   we decide to let him sweat it out.  

He wont stop eating inappropriate things, so its really up to us to make sure that we are super aware of anything that he might want to eat that isnt food.  I love my cat so much, but today I feel like he's just a hassle.

 It has been about 6 days now since starting the proactiv treament.  I have ceased to use the por refining mask, its just smells so bad that I think I will only use it if i have severe breakouts. 

I have to say, in just 6 days, the quality of my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. Im amazed and impressed.  My skin feels better than it has in years and it even has lessened the appearance of my sunspots and brown spots.  that is the biggest bonus ever.  

However.... I have now started to have zits errupt in places that they never did really before, like a few in and on my ears. what the shit is that!!!!!  and I now have one on the back of my neck.  that whole thing bumms me out and makes me believe in breakout conspiracy:  The zits have just migrated to another area, and the skin treatment just pushes them to a farther out radius. 

So if i wanted to bathe in the proactive skin treatment It would prob clear everything up at just 1500.00 a month! 

grrr..

And I really dont have time to tell about it. weird, yet I have time to talk about other stuff (fart-face)

1. I made contact w/ my real dad for the first time in 11 years

2. Made contact w/ my Brother for the first time in 15 years. We had dinner and have been emailing every day. It is so awesome

(This is huge stuff) starting to repair old rifts. we will see what happens.

3. dekenangel and I bought a car together

I think thats it, but that is important stuff. much less trivial than my usual ramblings.

 

Last night was day #1 of my trying the proactiv skin care treatment system.
I have to say Im pleased with the results as My skin looks much better since overnight! Thats pretty cool. However, there are some issues. The pore refining mask has alot of sulfur in it, which I guess is great for controling breakouts etc. and managing single zits as a spot treatment. However, My face smells like fart. I tried washing it off this morning and no luck. All I can smell is fart since its on my face and doesnt want to seem to leave.
If I was single and dating and someone tried to go in for a first kiss , I would be mortified.

The good news is it really worked on my zits!

But alas, I am a "fart-face"

Thankyou to all who helped me look for my necklace at the last shoot and to those who posted in various forums asking if anyone had seen it. I really appreciate all the effort ! The necklace is home safe and sound thanks to 
djeternaldarkne  who found it and kept it safe until I could pick it up yesterday.  Mee heart you!

In other unrelated news but nonetheless having to do with said DJ, I met the cooless feisty kitty w/ boat paddles for paws.
